Hire the best person for the right job or don’t.

I saw this today from Reid Bennett, CCIM on LinkedIn and it resonated.

“šŸ“£If you tell a bunch of brokers to ā€œbring you an offerā€ and that you are not paying the commission, here’s what happens:

1ļøāƒ£ You have a bunch of brokers out there, trying to get the LOWEST price as you have swithched the fiduciary responsibility to achieve the best and lowest price for THEIR BUYER.

2ļøāƒ£ You will confuse the market as the good buyers will receive your ā€œOFF MARKETā€ property from seven different brokers and they will back off.

3ļøāƒ£ You will represent yourself as an unrealistic or unmotivated seller, and your property will get stale by the time you get serious about hiring a broker.

šŸ”ŽDo your research, find the best broker in your market that specializes in your asset type and hire them. This will almost guarantee the highest price.”
