Hey Andrew,
Thank you! It was a long surreal day.
The most intriguing part of the entire experience for me, was all the hard work put into training and the 5 months of juggling life around training, 5 am runs, 60-100 mile bike rides, etc… all for between 10 and 16 hours of a single day.
I was not worried about my time at all. Just wanted to thoroughly enjoy the experience and try to taste, feel and remember every moment, obstacle or conquest along the way. It was a fantastic experience.
If I had a gripe, which I usually don’t. It was how WTC made me feel, not like an appreciated customer and valued Ironman, but more like a disposable entrant and a number.
