I’ve recently been looking into a different type of real estate marketing for Commercial Real Estate, especially income producing assets. My thoughts are along these lines;
In residential amped up videos you get great camerawork in a lot of cases with a drone style interior view and some witty and clever branding from the agent marketing the property. I like the premise and if its done well, it can land with the right buyer(s).
In commercial investments it would seem most investors aren’t interested in an interior fly through of a commercial retail space in a plaza or a single apartment in a small to medium sized complex. I can always send a quick walkthrough video recorded on my DJI osmo and that seems to suffice. Most of my customers and clients seem to prefer a drone video of the property and area or even a closer exterior perspective.
What I was thinking of was a shorter, more professional style video that grabs a Buyers attention and then offers 25 seconds of video with 2/3 of video being drone exterior video and 1/3 being interior shots/video w/ branding wrapping it up.
What are your thoughts as a Commercial or Residential broker/agent? I’d love to hear your thoughts and also what your current practices are.
