Trump: TikTok deal coming ‘soon’

TikTok’s U.S. business could be sold “soon,” President Trump said Sunday, adding that the administration is in talks “with four different groups,” but did not specify further. TikTok-owner ByteDance must strike a deal to sell the social network’s U.S. operations by April 5, or be banned — although the deadline has already been extended once, something Trump has suggested he’s open to doing again. Any deal would have to be approved by China.
