Jaco’s raise close to $20,000 for Autism awareness

The Jaco family – Aaron Jaco, brother Adam and his wife Kelli, raised $18,500 this past weekend for Autism awareness during a 24-hour fundraiser held at the Jaco Boxing & Fitness Club in Sarasota.

All funds are being donated to the ABA Academy in Sarasota, a non-profit organization that provides programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other disabilities.

The event started April 25 at 5 p.m. and went a full 24 hours, with the Jaco’s offering half-hour private training sessions for $100. Kelli Jaco says its the first major fundraiser of many.

“We’d like to do two a year, if possible, to give back as much as we can,” she said.
