San Diego company buys Sarasota’s Serendipity Tennis Club

Stone Real Estate Holdings Ltd., a Clearwater company managed by Rex A. Roten and owned by Gerd Petrik, sold the Serendipity Tennis Club at 3600 Torrey Pines Blvd. in Sarasota to Sarasota Tennis Holdings Ltd. for $2.1 million.

The club consists of a 30,726-square-foot clubhouse, 19 tennis courts, a junior Olympic size swimming pool and a 5,500-square-foot gym.

Petrik paid $2.4 million for the facility in March 2001.

Sarasota Tennis Holdings, a San Diego company managed by Eran Salu, financed the purchase with a $1.6 million loan from the seller.
