The Perspective – Fantasy Football – Week 2 Predictions & Players to Watch

Players who we think will perform well this week, include;

Matthew Stafford – He keeps on rolling versus a Chiefs team that got punched in the mouth by Buffalo and is on the ropes early.

Mario Manningham – Hakeem Nicks is dinged up and Manningham should reap the benefits.

Cowboys offensive players should do well. At San Francisco.

Matt Forte – He can run a little bit and catch a little bit and will be a safety valve for Cutler against a blitzing Saints D – Thanks to @FlexandGoal for the heads up!

Adrian Peterson – Seems obvious. Alas, he should be more All Day then Half Day this week.

Reggie Bush – Look, I am not a R-Bush fan, but he looks like a great fit in this offense. Henne will look for him often!

Tom Brady – DUH! I am putting him here again, because I feel he can throw for 400+ yards. Its not like their running the ball much. They run passing plays 2 to 1 over actual handoffs.

Cedric Benson – Fresh out of jail, out on bail, time to set sail, making it rain not hail… I digress. Against Denver Cedric will run well.

Danny Woodhead & Wes Welker – New England small & fast WR’s are the running backs of the Patriots. Big $$$ this week. See Brady, Tom above.

As for this weeks Head-To-Head matchups.
Here is a quick synopsis and off the cuff prediction.

(1-0) Where my Blitzes at? vs. (1-0) Fly, Fly! Pretty Peacock.
The battle of the undefeated teams! Only 1 shall remain standing…
Straight up, this all comes down to the QB’s. I like the matchups of Rodgers & Romo just a tiny amount better then Stafford & Brees, but its gonna be close.

Look, we can’t make you start Miles Austin over Randall “Corn on the” Cobb, but if you choose to ride that lightning, then may gawd have mercy on your fantasy football soul.

(1-0) Not Loosing To My Wife This Time vs. (0-1) A Rivers Runs Through It
I am enamored with ARRTI’s matchups this week and look for big things and to get their first win.
With NLTMWTT, Hasselbeck has terrible matchup, Bradford is sketchy. Tough week.
RIVERS – 144 – Loosing to My Wife – 138

(0-1) Whatchoo Talkin bout HILLIS vs. (0-1) Team McDaniel
This matchup pits the two scrappy winless teams against each other. While we feel All Day Peterson shows why he is the number 1 pick this week, we also feel Flacco & Sanchez do well. Ultimately, we just love Kolb & Big Ben’s matchups even more.
